About the Initiative

In this time of home quarantine, we, queer people, are “homeless.” Some are in unsafe and abusive houses that aren’t homes. Some were thrown out by their families. Some do not have a place to live in. All of us live in a society that still doesn’t fully accept us.

 

Through these open letters, let us remember that we have a home and a family in the LGBTQI community.

 

In celebration of  #Pride2020, may these submitted letters be successful in reaffirming that SOGIESC equality is a family value, and that love, acceptance, and inclusion make a home.
